GASPARI: Homosexuals are better than Straights?
GASPARI: You say I have said ‘terrible’ things about heterosexuals because I dared to say gay people were ‘better’ than heterosexuals.
I would laugh my head off at myself when I posted those comments simply because anyone who took them seriously must have issues. The responses flushed out the wheat from the chaff. You have to understand my sense of reverse psychology when I was posting those comments.
If you didn’t see the humor and irony in my posts suggesting that gays were *superior* to straights then I am afraid you must have had a sense of humor bypass.
The only reason I posted those comments is to endeavor to show in a humorously ironic way what we as gay people have been dealing with for years – you only have to look at the comments on this board to see that a sizable percentage of straight people think they are *better* than gays.
So I post the opposite (as a joke may i add) and incur your rage: what does that say about you?
Anyone who took me seriously when I was saying gays are better than straights has problems understanding irony and has completely missed the point.
Didn’t you see the delicious irony re the outrage some people exhibited here when I *dared* suggest that gay people are better than heterosexuals?
Gay people have had this drummed into them for centuries. When I turn the tables it’s hysterical to see the response!
As it happens Gaspari – I do think you are homophobic in spite of what you say and I distinctly remember some overtly homophobic rants that you and furry rat unloaded one drunken night!
Furry Rat is a homophobe and you are his friend. If we were out in the real world I wouldn’t associate with you any more than I would associate you if you were friends with a practicing pedophile or a Nazi.
Guilt by association and I see no reason why this forum should be any different to the outside world in this respect

I am very interested in Gender and LGBT issues and yes, I do post many questions and answers regarding these issues in the same way that feminists and men post questions and answers pertaining to their particular political proclivities.
I think ‘combative’ is a very good word to describe this forum in general, yes. Good answer.
