Going for a paegent, confused by sports supplements……Please help?
Hi friends,
I am a young man who is going to participate in a male beauty pageant in two weeks.
I have been on this fat burner called tight for quite some time and it has helped me to loose all excess fat and be in nice shape, not to mention the high protein diet and intensive workouts.
My problem is that , that now I am unable to have good pumps in my muscles and though I have lost weight ,still the muscle mumps are not coming ….
My supplement shop freind suggested VPX ‘s muscle nitrous but then I will have to stop tight or he asked me to take SAN’s fierce with tight… but that has creatine, will that not bloat me and take the definition away,,, as my aim is to look lean, toned and ripped….
These are last twenty days and I am really confused, can you help ?

Is it advisable to drink both, whey protein isolated and an arginine supplement before going to sleep?
I want to know if it’s ok to drink the arginine supplement and 30 minutes later drink one milkshake of whey protein isolated before going to sleep. Do they compete with each other or this mix is beneficial? thank you.

I hope it’s ok because there already is arginine in your whey protein, lol. Arginine is an amino acid and whey protein is a bunch of amino acids.

Going healthy (targeting stomach area), what diet, book, supplements, exercise, sports are the most helpful?
I recently got back from a missions trip working in the kitchen and gained. I’m 5’3 and weight around 126 right with my usual weight around 118. I’m not overweight or think I’m fat but most of it is in my butt and stomach. I would love to lose a few pounds and mostly tone my body with concentration in those areas. I am addicted to sugar so I need a great way to get started. It would be hard for me to wake up tomorrow with a whole new lifestyle so this is going to be a process for me and I’m willing to take my time. I’m not looking for some diet pill that won’t be successful. I would love to hear from those of you who lost weight or toned and exactly how you did it. What is the main area with foods I should be avoiding, how many meals should I eat a day, is snacking okay? Are the diet books worth it, like Bob Green’s Best Life Diet? What sport or exercise will tone those parts the best? What supplements should I be taking, does weight smart one a day work? Thanks!

Your weight sounds perfectly fine and you seem like you are approaching this in a good way.
I wouldnt worry about taking supplements etc. Diet pills are a waste of money for what they are, and if you eat a fair whack of sugar then your energy levels should be higher anyway.
To drop the unwanted ‘baggage’ so to speak i would do plenty of cardio exercise, running, biking, even power walking etc. Try to do these as soon as you wake up in the morning. This early workout will burn the fat off quicker then if you did so 6 hours later (due to it already burning the energy carbs through the night on regular things).
Diet books can work, but im sure you wont find anything in a book that you wont find on a website for free.
Exercises to work the stomach: Sit ups, crunches, ‘The plank’
Butt: Leg raises, and leg raises on hands and knees.
Any questions do ask. Im a professional wrestler and bodybuilder with gym training qualifications.

Hope this as helped
Will

What are the benefits to going from a RN to BSN to MSN for NP vs. RN to MSN accelerated w/out getting the BSN?

What are the benefits to going from a RN to BSN to MSN for NP vs. RN to MSN accelerated w/out getting the BSN?
I am a RN w/ associates degree and want to be a NP. There are accelerated programs offering RN to MSN without obtaining a BSN. But I am wondering if not having the BSN first makes you less desirable to employers. The schools offering the accelerated programs are very good schools like the University of Michigan.

It’s all a matter of time, obviously. Accelerated programs will cram everything into a short amount of time. Pros are you become a NP sooner. Cons are you will spend all of your free time studying or doing clinicals. I guess it comes down to your ambition, age, family, and financial situation. Either way, you’re making a wise decision. Good luck to you on whatever decision you make!

I lost about 30 lbs in 60 days and I wrote about it in my blog at http://looseweightfree.blogspot.com It was hard in the two months but I have managed to maintain it for the last two years. It is tough but not impossible. It has even given me a lot of mind control when I see food. If you are serious about loosing weight read it and see if you can do the same.

Im going to start taking usplabs jack3d,gnc creatine mono, and ON whey.what mass/strength gains should i expect?
Im 17, 6’1″,202 lbs,and im trying to get bigger and stronger for next football season. right now i bench 260,squat 350,and clean 225.I go to fooball lifting monday thru thursday where we lift and run(sprints).and i usually go to the gym on saturday.are these products any good?any other suggestions?

Best answer:

Answer by Jon
Don’t expect steroid type results, but this stuff will definitely help your body recover. You might even want to take saturday off. You have to let your body heal from the damage it sustains during those mon. thru thurs. workouts. It’s not being lazy to take three days off, it’s smart. The right supplements and the right amount of rest, your going to notice a difference.
