Are there any fat burners that work for people that don’t have a lot of weight to lose?
I am very active, I work out at the gym 3 days a week. my eating is pretty good, but could be better. I would like to be able to compete in a bodybuilding figure competion, but I need to lean out more. I have tried several different fat burner pills to give my metabolism a bigger boost, but can’t find one that works yet.

Loosing weight fast is always an unhealthy thing.
There are many diets who tell you that you can loose a lot of weight in no time. And it is working, but you are doing no good to your body. And there’s also the Jojo-effect.
The best thing to loose and hold a healthy weight is healthy food, less sugar, lots of drinking water, and sports.
Diet has to begin in your head. And you already started to think about your nutrition. That’s an important step. It is too easy just to make a magazine-diet for 2-3 weeks and loose some weight. But it will come back soon again. If you are over-thinking your nutrition and activity, you will have a constantly good result. Isn’t that much better and healthier than a crash-diet ?

Take care,

How do I lose weight rather then gain weight when exercising?
Every time I exercise I gain muscle weight but I want to lose 10 lbs. I’m running a 5k in a month and I need to start running to prepare. I exercise now almost every day and do sit ups to and abs slide to flatten my stomach. Normally I use the gazelle or I ride my bike for exercise. How do I lose weight rather than gain? Thanks for your help.

work out ( benchpressing an curls) every other day. Jog a couple of miles in the morning before eating, you lose fat in the morning, and build muscle later on in the day.

Comparing Gaspari’s Cytolean, Nutrex’s Lipo-6 and Muscletech’s Hydroxycut Hardcore in terms of value for money, effectiveness, speed of effectiveness, as well as pros and cons, and generally, anything else you can think of, which comes out on tops?

Also, what are the pros and cons of BSN’s NO-Xplode?
Okay, I appreciate the advice, but I would like to know, specifically from people that have used some of these products, some opinions about them

None come out on top!!!!!! They are all very harmful to your body & losing weight isn’t worth putting garbage in your body. Do it on your own. Just stay focused & be determined to be a success!!!!!

I wouldnt worry about those weight loss pills as most of them you have to use in conjunction with excercise and diet anyway. Just keep up with you are doing. Do cardio excercises and cut down on carbs and sodium.

Whey protein powder or whey protein isolate powder is the best kind of protein powder to lose weight. If you’ve seen the ads for the Biggest Loser protein powder, that’s what their powder is made of.

How Can I Lose weight effectively when excercise causes weight gain?
I am 35 yrs old and have gone thru premature menopuase. As a result I was using HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy – which contains steroids) for 3 1/2 years. This as well as the menopuase has caused me to gain a lot of weight. I was not aware of the steroids and the effects until I came off the drug. I have been trying to exercise to get it off but I have found that exercising causes me to gain weight. I know weight training is supposed to help but will not be able to sign up for a gym until the next couple months (i’m paying for a vehicle). I would certainly appreciate any suggestions that you might have. The weight is affecting my asthma and I need to get rid of it before other complications set in. I am not used to the weight and have been a professional athlete for at least 15 yrs of my life. People cannot belileve how big I’ve gotten and it’s too personal to explain to them why so I just make excuses although a lot of them believe that I’ve eaten myself to this state.

What about a riding stationary bike very slowly up to 30 minutes? You can lift weights at home? Buy dumbells and do high reps? Ask your doctor?
