The majority of PA programs are at the masters level–2.-to 2.5 years after a bachelors (4 years); yes you could do laser tattoo removal although you would be qualified to do far more than just that.

Someone told me that tattoo removal hurts as much as branding?
Is this true? Is the pain from a laser tattoo removal (with no anesthesia really unbearable? (the jump out of your seat kind of pain).
I’m looking for answers from people who actually experienced it. Anyone?

I’ve heard that it hurs 10 times worse then when you got it and costs about that much more to get it off then what you paid for it. I saw a billboard this weekend for tatto removal that said $ 50 per sq inch..that could get expensive fast!

I watched them do it on a show not to long ago. It was a guy who helps get ex gang members starightened up and they start by removing the gang related tattoos…poor guys looked on the verge of tears and they were tough guys…

How exactley does salibrasion work (for tattoo removal)?
I am doing a research paper on tattoo removal and am wondering….

What kind of salt is used?

What is is rubbed in with?

For how long is it rubbed in?

How long would it take (how many days, how often a week etc)?

Anything else helpful.

Best answer:

Answer by White lighting
You use rock salt, with a sleight amount of moisture. Then you rub the tattoo, till yer about ready to scream, and it’s turned bright pink. Then you let it scab over, and the scab fall off by itself. You’ll have a white spot where the tattoo was. Takes about three weeks, unless the tattoo is really in there, and you have to repeat the process. Many doctors will remove small tattoos with an abrasive process, in which they use a local, and a small grinding wheel. They used to take a small one off for around forty bucks. But I haven’t seen that in years.

How to take a gauze off (tattoo removal)?
My husband is under laser treatment for a tattoo removal. We would like to know the proper way of taking the gauze off. Does he have to wet it so it comes off easier without ripping off the scabs?
Thanks.

Why is home or Do-it-Yourself tattoo removal becoming so popular?
What are the reasons why people want to try home tattoo removal rather than laser tattoo removal?

Is there a preference for any particular removal method?

Thank you.

Home tattoo removal does not work, plain and simple. The only ways of removing a tattoo are laser, having it carved out, or tattooing over it.

That is a good question. One that I hope to have an answer to in two weeks. My son has a tat that is 3cm by 1/2cm on his wrist that he wishes to be removed. We went to check on laser today but that would be upwards of $ 1200 to $ 1800. We are going to a surgeon in two weeks to see about cutting it out. The best guess from the net search is 150 to 500 but who knows.

Q&A: How can I raise money for a tattoo removal?

How can I raise money for a tattoo removal?
As a college student, I am searching for ways to raise money, perhaps through donations, to pursue a laser tattoo removal operation.

I would be blessed if I could speak with a doctor who performs such operations, one that would essentially “sponsor” me in this quest to rid my skin of this ink…

I firmly believe in the Pay-It-Forward Theory and look forward to ridding myself of this tattoo.

Any ideas as to how I might acquire the financial means to do so are greatly appreciated.

Please, anyone considering a tattoo… please think long and hard about it.
