How can I build muscle if I work as a package handler 4 hours stright?
Do you think it’s going to be impossible for me to build muscle if i lift heavy things everyday non stop for 4 hours. Don’t muscles need rest to grow? Cause I work like this everyday. Please answer
thanks

Best weight to build muscle *is* to lift heavy things, and your inkling is right – it’s best to have a day of rest inbetween lifting to let your muscles recover (which is the time when they actually get bigger/stronger).
Of course, if it’s your job, you can’t really have a day of rest
When we say heavy, we also mean heaaavy. Heavy enought that you can only lift the weight about 12 times in a row (12 reps) before needing a rest. If you can do 15 in a row, the weight is too light, and it’s more like a cardio workout than weight lifting.
Also if you’re lifting heavy things as a job, you’re probably working the same muscles over and over and ignoring others – say you’re picking up things from the floor and putting them on a table – that’s similar to “deadlifting” a barbell, which works out your legs. Your biceps, triceps, pecs etc aren’t getting that much attention.
